The Glen Oaks Magnet High School Senior Beta Club is sponsored by Ms. Akerele. The club is for 9th – 12th grade students. It is a division of Beta Club, which was established in 1934 and which now has organizations around the world.

Glen Oaks High School (GOHS) is located in Merrydale, unincorporated East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, near the city of Baton Rouge. The school is a part of the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools.
