Coretta F. Thomas serves as one of the Assistant Principals of Glen Oaks Magnet High School. She is a 27 year veteran of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. She is a proud member of the Star of Bethlehem B. C. where she is a choir member.
She is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, and a Masters of Natural Science with a concentration in Mathematic Education as well as a Masters of Arts from University of Phoenix in Educational Leadership. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence Mathematics.
She is the proud parent of 1 son. She believes in the power of love, family, faith and education. In her free time, she reads, watches sports, travels and spends time with family and friends.
