Glen Oaks Magnet is excited to share that Panther Leah Warr was awarded a $1,000 prize as part of the Forcepoint and Girls with Impact venture competition.  Her award-winning submission to the competition is a global transit app called Metro Underpass.  The point of the app is to securely monitor train times and locations.  She is featured on page 19 in the December issue of the Baton Rouge Parent magazine.  Glen Oaks certainly agrees with the magazine feature that she is “One Amazing Kid!”  Congratulations Leah!
