Mission: Our mission is to assist each and every student in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attributes needed to become well-rounded and responsible individuals, who are therefore, positive and contributing workers as well as life long learners.
The Role of the School Counselor: Students’ academic support, social and personal issues concerns, post-secondary planning, parents academic planning/support, post secondary planning, school-to-parent communications, referrals process, school enrichment, climate, academic support, interventions, school-wide needs assessments, community referrals, career education/experiences
ICare is an alcohol, drug abuse, and violence school based prevention program. Glen Oaks High School’s ICare professional is Ms. Sam.  Ms. Sam is at Glen Oaks High every Thursday.  She can be reached by calling the ICare office at 226-2273 or by email.
