Traditional/Neighborhood Program
Glen Oaks Magnet High School is home to a Medical Magnet program and three Centers of Excellence programs but it also has a neighborhood school component as well. Students who live within the school attendance zone are eligible to come to GOMHS. These students are eligible to take a wide variety of courses both at Glen Oaks and through other district initiatives.
Medical Magnet Program
GOMHS has a Medical Magnet program. The application period for the 2021-2022 academic year is from October 5, 2020 (12:01 am) – December 2, 2020 (11:59 pm). To learn more about the program a prospective Panther and their family should go to the EBR Magnet website or our school magnet website.
Health Sciences, Sports Medicine and Radio Broadcasting Centers of Excellence
Besides the Medical Magnet program, GOMHS also offers three Centers of Excellence programs: Health Sciences, Sports Medicine and Radio Broadcasting.
